Let's use the Brees family again as an example to calculate the cost of Windtricity at a set rate:
The Brees family chooses a set rate of $10 per month for Windtricity. If they divide their set rate of $10.00 by the Windtricity rate of $0.01, the Brees can claim that $10 buys 1,000 kWh of clean and green, renewable wind energy -- a portion of their monthly consumption: ($10.00 / $0.01 = 1,000 kWh)
