Lighting a pilot on a furnace can be a bit intimidating for some folks. CPS Energy can help you light and adjust your natural gas appliances, water heaters and furnace pilots for just $24 plus tax. An additional fee may be assessed if the customer is not available for a scheduled appointment.

If there is heavy accumulation of dust or a faulty condition on the heating equipment, we will not light the pilot until the customer has corrected the problem. Dirty or malfunctioning heaters may create a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. Any maintenance work must be scheduled with a private licensed heating/air conditioning contractor. We suggest setting up a service contract with a reputable licensed contractor to assist with annual maintenance.
