Walls are important to consider in an insulation evaluation because they comprise a large portion of your home's "envelope" (the shell, made up of the outer walls, ceiling, floors, windows, and doors of a house). Unless your home was specially designed and constructed for energy efficiency, you can usually increase the comfort of your home and lower your energy costs by adding more insulation. Having the right amount of insulation in your attic and exterior walls can make a noticeable difference when it comes to what you spend on year monthly energy bill.
CPS Energy is offering a rebate for wall insulation of $0.25 per square foot of treated wall area.
This rebate is not available for new construction projects and only applies to home improvement or retrofit projects. New construction projects are eligible for our New Construction, Solar Photovoltaic or Solar Water Heater Rebate programs.
Rebates will not be granted if work violates local or state requirements or is not completed by a qualified contractor. Learn how to find the right home improvement contractor. Residential rebates may be subject to inspection and verification by an authorized representative of CPS Energy.
