Spray Foam Insulation Rebates

Certain home improvements, such as foam insulation, may result in energy savings and reduce the amount of air conditioning required in a home. Foam, unlike fiberglass insulation, requires a professional to spray or pump foam into walls and ceilings to keep heat inside during the cold months and the hot air outside when it's warm. Spray foam insulation may be more expensive to install, but it usually fills more cracks, crevices and other areas where air leaks may occur and may last longer than fiberglass insulation.

CPS Energy is offering a rebate of $0.25 per square feet of attic floor space under conditioned areas of the home if the attic and walls are insulated. See our Spray Foam Guidelines for more information.

This rebate is not available for new construction projects and only applies to home improvement or retrofit projects. New construction projects are eligible for our New ConstructionSolar Photovoltaic or Solar Water Heater Rebate programs.

Rebates will not be granted if work violates local or state requirements or is not completed by a qualified contractor. Learn how to find the right home improvement contractor. Residential rebates may be subject to inspection and verification by an authorized representative of CPS Energy.
