CPS Energy is offering a $100 rebate on any make or model of Gas Clothes Dryers, a $50 rebate on Gas Water Heaters – any size, make, model, both tank and tank-less – and a $50 rebate on either a Gas Cooktop or Gas Stove.
These rebates are open to CPS Energy residential gas customers. Customers must supply an active CPS Energy account number – rebates will be applied directly to the account. Rebates are limited to one gas water heater, one gas clothes dryer, and one gas cooktop or gas stove per household. Rebates are available until December 31, 2011 or until funds are exhausted.
Rebate Procedures:
Customers must include a legible copy of their receipt itemizing equipment and a legible purchase date.
Receipts must be dated between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011. No further rebates will be given for receipts dated in 2010.
Customers must supply model numbers and serial numbers from each appliance.
Appliances must be installed in the residence corresponding to the submitted CPS Energy account number.
Customers must agree to a physical inspection of their home for verification of installation of the gas appliance(s). Inspections will be scheduled at the discretion of CPS Energy.
Rebates are only applicable to those who directly purchase a qualifying gas appliance.
Rebates are not applicable to new construction homes with the exception of a gas dryer if it is directly purchased by the homeowner
