$0.20 per square foot of roof area on ENERGY STAR® "Cool Roof."
Must be ENERGY STAR® cool roof products.
All materials must be new.
Only metal or ceramic tile roofs qualify. Asphalt shingles do not qualify.
Owner-occupied single-family homes (existing homes only).
Manufacturer data on reflectivity of roof coatings must be included with the application along with the contractor's installation receipt itemizing total area or equipment installed and product identifiers and performance rating specifications.
Attach an itemized and dated invoice from the contractor or retailer (include roofing manufacturer, type and square feet) along with your application form.
The final roof area of each home will be determined and documented by the roofing contractor. Square footage measurements will be verified against Bexar County property tax records, or inspected by a CPS Energy inspector.
Funding for this program is limited to funds availability.
The measure must be installed in a home served by CPS Energy between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2011.
The completed application form, together with the itemized receipt detailing the work completed, must be received by December 31, 2011 to be eligible.
Applications must be received within 30 days of completion of projects.
CPS Energy reserves the right to make changes to the program without notice.
