CPS Energy’s Residential Disabled Citizens Billing Program allows disabled customers on Supplemental Security Income (SSI) additional time to pay the net amount of their utility bill.
Customers who qualify for this program are allowed 26 days, instead of the normal 16 days, to pay their monthly bill. To qualify for the program, a customer who receives SSI must be the person whose name is on the CPS Energy account.
Customers who participate in the program will have their accounts re-evaluated on an annual basis to determine continued eligibility. This program is only applicable to the customer’s principal residence.
Customers interested in utilizing the Residential Disabled Citizens Billing Program can print and complete an application, visit one of our customer service centers or call (210) 353-2222 to enroll.
