Large Commercial Planning (LCP) provides planning design and technical support for large commercial and industrial remodel jobs, downtown electrical network services, data centers and redundant feeds, and padmount transformer outages. Large Commercial Planning is a section of CPS Energy's Customer Engineering Department.
A standard padmount transformer installation is intended for a commercial or industrial customer or group of such customers whose demand load exceeds 300 kVA (Large Commercial Customers). CPS Energy will determine the rating of the transformer based on load data furnished by the Customer.
If commercial customers have a demand load up to 300 kVA, the standard method for supplying 3-phase power is from pole-mounted transformer banks. All commercial customers service remodel requests will be handled by the respective CPS Energy service district centers:
Northwest Center: 353-4727
