CPS Energy's Commercial Custom Rebates Program provides a comprehensive platform for cost-effective energy efficiency measures not addressed by the other commercial rebate program offerings. Program participants submit an application for a firm quantity of kW and/or kWh reduction through the installation of energy-efficiency measures. A customized incentive is offered based on project performance. 

This program provides customers with the flexibility to install a number of measures, including innovative measures or technologies, and receive incentives based on the actual savings they achieve.  This program does require more precision in savings verification than the non-custom measures.

The goals of the Commercial Custom Rebates Program include:

• Increase customer acceptance and use of energy efficient technologies and practices.
• Encourage and support comprehensive energy efficiency projects that go beyond single measures and common efficiency practices.
• Obtain verifiable, cost-effective and long-term electrical energy and demand savings.
• Provide more opportunities to participate in rebate programs for small and mid-size business customers. 

This program provides a comprehensive platform for cost-effective energy efficiency measures not addressed by the other CPS Energy program offerings.  Program participants submit an application for a firm quantity of kW and/or kWh reduction through the installation of energy efficiency measures.  A customized incentive is offered based on project performance. Incentives are $0.08 per kWh and $200 per peak kW for eligible measures based on first year energy and peak demand savings.

This rebate only applies to building improvement or retrofit projects. It is not available for new construction projects.
